Going green

Reservoir Veterinary Clinic has recently begun making some changes in the clinic to make our carbon footprint smaller. We now use only locally sourced, recycled office paper and toilet paper, hopefully saving a few trees. We re-use scrap paper to take telephone messages and other short notes.

We also use environmentally friendly cleaning products where possible, for example, to wash our dishes and to do our laundry. Using these products means less harmful chemicals are getting into our waterways and oceans.

You may have changed your light globes to energy saving ones recently, and so have we! We have also installed sensors in some of our rooms which are activated by movement. This means that the lights turn themselves off when the room is empty, thus saving lots of electricity and money.

You can also help keep our environment clean and save trees by making some changes around your home like we have in our clinic
