Dr Wayne Fitzgerald, BVSc MACVSc (Vet.Dentistry) - Head Veterinarian

Working as a veterinarian over the years Wayne has had the opportunity to work with a number of different animals from cows and horses to lions and native wildlife in different parts of Victoria.

But it was Wayne’s love of small animals that brought him back to work at Reservoir Vet Clinic where he first started as work experience student when he was a teenager.

Dentistry is a special interest of Wayne’s and in 1995, he sat his Australian College of Vet Scientist Membership exams in Veterinary Dentistry. Wayne is currently president of the Australian Veterinary Dentistry Society and regularly accepts dental referrals from veterinary practices all over Victoria.

Wayne’s other interests include working with Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service and performing orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Wayne devotes his spare time to lovingly restoring his 1963 Mercedes Benz sports car.

Dr Andrea Montesano, BVSc - Veterinarian

Andrea completed her Veterinary Science studies at Melbourne University in November 1997 and started working at the Reservoir Veterinary Clinic in February the following year. She has been with us ever since.

She enjoys providing a high standard of veterinary medicine and personal care to her patients, and is particularly interested in animal behaviour and the emotional bond between humans and their pets.

At home, Andrea is 'owned' by a much-pampered 9-year-old cat called Ebony.
